Build a present statement you can change
The present verb lesson connects a subject with a finite form, including familiar irregular verbs. Change the person or number while preserving the intended action, then explain which word must change. This provides the foundation for questions and later past constructions.
Learn nouns with their article and plural
De and het help you recognize the noun patterns that affect later demonstratives and adjective endings. Learn useful nouns as small phrases rather than isolated English equivalents. Keep singular and plural forms together so that the number change is visible.
Keep the finite verb in its sentence frame
The sentence order lesson distinguishes statements, questions and dependent clauses. Practice changing the opening detail without losing the finite verb. Use that frame again when separable verbs, perfect constructions and reasons add more material to a sentence.
