Build a clear sentence about a familiar scene

Start with ser and estar, then add articles, noun gender, and regular present verbs. Describe a person, an object, or a place you know. The meaning of the description helps you choose the verb, while the subject determines its personal form. Keep those two decisions separate so that a useful beginner contrast does not become an inaccurate permanent or temporary rule.

Connect words through meaningful relationships

The small prepositions em and de introduce different relationships, including place, origin, and possession. Their combinations with articles are part of ordinary complete noun phrases. Identify the relationship first, then decide whether an article is present and combine the forms accordingly. Reading each phrase in a complete sentence gives its short words a purpose.

Explain a change before repeating the model

Change one subject, noun, or location and explain which forms must change with it.
